Belkin has just started to ship their WiFi Skype phone, and Gizmodo’s got an exclusive review of it. The Skype phone is a sleek black candy bar style phone reminiscent of the Sony T610 that is designed to use free WiFi networks to make calls using the Skype calling system. That means free calls to other Skype users and low cost calls to everyone else whenever you’re in range of a signal. The review looks pretty good, and could signal the beginning of the end for cell phone use as we know it. Considering this phone is one of the first of its type to hit the market, I’m sure competition will add a slew of new features and designs in the future.
