Pronet Advertising has created a walkthrough of sorts for Warner Bros.’ very successful The Dark Night viral marketing campaign.

The path involved mysterious images, defaced pop-ups, interactive emails, and participation incentives to get users involved, and shows how sometimes, companies just get it right. Do you believe in Harvey Dent?

    Alternate reality games are awesome. Ive heard of ones with huge cash prizes at the end of them. p.s. Kik ass blog, its got really interesting things on it. I just finished making some of my own invisible sketch’s.

    I’m glad you like it. I think that alternate reality games are going to be a growing trend as companies try to find ways of interacting directly with customers. The Volvo treasure hunt is another example of a highly interactive marketing message.
