Pixelmator is a new, “beautifully designed, easy-to-use, fast and powerful image editor for Mac OS X” that “has everything you need to create and enhance your images”. It’s open source, so bugs should be quickly remedied, and is powered by the world’s first GPU-Powered image editor, meaning the Core Image technology uses your Mac’s video card for image processing instead of your CPU.
