She had to beat out Jessica Alba and Halle Berry to take top spot, but Angelina Jolie was recently named the Sexiest Female Superhero for her role as Laura Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.
The Sexiest Male Superhero was George Clooney for his role as Batman in Batman and Robin, beating out Christopher Reeve and Christian Bale for top sot among the men.
I guess I never knew the ability to wear skimpy clothing was considered a super power.

Hmmm, this is a very flawed choice made on the assumption that all comic book characters are “superheroes” I would say. Lara Croft is not a superhero by my definition. (and not just because she doesn’t have superpowers..neither does Batman, but I consider him a superhero.) Lara Croft is just more of a female Indiana Jones.

For me, a superhero (or heroine in this case) not only has to be physically strong but must have an equally gripping personality and at present no one can match the persona of Jolie whether its Drew Barrymore or Cameron Diaz…..Jolie’s got it all, acting skills, charisma, persona, the kinda looks…did I miss anythin’?
