In January’s issue of Marie Claire, she’s bare with a belly and some bangles for the world to see.

I guess having a personal trainer does pay off.

So when a mysterious clay model shows up in his shop, the automotive world takes notice.

Is it his next supercar?

Is it Ford’s next supercar?

Is it a design study that will never see the light of day?

No one knows for sure, but it sure is fun to dream…

…Fetishes have funny behind the scenes?

Behind The Fetish

Keith Allen Phillips likes to be called Lucky. Lucky Bastard to be exact.

For the past six years, Lucky has been working for a company that makes custom fetish videos. Since fetishes are often the sillier side of sexuality, it’s no surprise that Lucky’s collection of behind the scenes photos are often a little weird.

Bloody Barbies?

Check.

Toes crushing Hot Wheels?

Check.

Playing with a Venus Flytrap?

Sure, why not?

Basically, if you can think of it, someone else can get off on it, and Lucky and shoot it.

…It’s Website Wednesday: Mod My Life?

Mod My Life

Though it’s still in private beta mode, Mod My Life has some definite possibility.

Described as “a unique way to view and interact with the world. It’s kind of like ‘Second Life’ mapped back onto the real world.”

Basically, mods are suggestions for future actions. (Example: Bargain for a half-price Big Mac.) Users submit mods, and they’re added to the mod pool, where users can vote for mods that they like, and flag mods that they don’t. The more votes that a mod receives, the more likely it is that it will be promoted to the mod finals.

Modstars are the ones who perform the mods. The users determine their actions via the mod voting system, and the Modstar must do what the users say. Once he has finished one mod, the users can choose the next from among the finals, and it starts all over again.

To keep things really interesting, all of the mods are performed live (give or take the few seconds used to keep the video smooth).Video is streamed straight to the users, allowing you watch in real time as the Modstar performs each mod.

Sound like your scene? Then head on over to Mod My Life and sign up for the private beta, because we all need a bit more control.

…The PlayStation can keep an eye on you?

PlayStation 3 Eye

Sony’s PlayStation 3 advertising has always been hit or miss, but since I want to print out a poster sized image of this eye ad to put up on my wall, I’m going to call this one a definite hit.

…Your smile isn’t perfect?

Jessica Simpson Smile

Think you have the perfect smile?

Apparently scientists have done a test or two, and come up with the following guidelines:

  1. Bright white should be avoided. The Whiteness of the teeth should match the whites of the eyes.
  2. A smile’s ideal width should be no less than half the width of the face.
  3. Both upper and lower lips should be symmetrical on each side of the mid-line of the face.
  4. The top row of teeth should be dominant while very little should be seen on the bottom row.
  5. All teeth on display should be straight with no visible signs of restoration work.
  6. The teeth should diminish in size from front to back. (Those either side of the central teeth, the laterals, should be 61.8 per cent the size of the bigger teeth. The next teeth along should be 61.8 per cent of the laterals. The width of the central teeth should be 80 per cent of their height.)
  7. Very little should be seen of the gums. (To avoid a horsey smile.)

…Spiders can be dangerous?

SpiderSpider is a rather clever action-thriller short from Australian director Nash Edgerton that “gives an all-new meaning to old Peugeots, stunning blondes and love-jokes”.

With Nash playing Jack, and Mirrah Foulkes playing Jill, it’s definitely a low budget affair, but the results are still rather entertaining.

Just remember: It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Caution: This film is probably not for the squeamish.

These new Mimobots feature Helmet Caps, which means you can remove Luke’s X-Wing pilot helmet and Boba Fett’s Mandalorian battle helmet to reveal their faces beneath.

If that’s not enough, they’ve also got Mop Top and Headphones caps so that Hans and Leia can rock their hairstyles with ease.

As of now, they’re scheduled for a January/February ’08 release date, so order now so that you don’t miss out.
