Times are tough, and the economic crunch is definitely hitting a lot of people hard, so if you’re one of the unlucky ones that’s been forced out of your home by unfriendly foreclosure, then Motive is here to help.
They’ve put together a How-To that’s filled with tips for living out of your car, and with such gems as “screw fast food”, “keep clean to maintain your job and your sanity”, and “leave dryer sheets under the front seats to help mitigate the stink”, it’s an indispensable guide to mi casa es mi coche living arrangements.
Bicycles with belt drives used to be a boutique only feature just a few years ago, but as more and more people seek an alternative to automotive transportation, more and more bike companies are looking for ways to make the bike more consumer friendly.
Unlike a chain, belt drives keep you pant cuffs clean and your ride quiet, but they also can’t be repaired as easily or as on the spot as a chain can, and the price is also somewhat prohibitive.
However, when you want to live on the cutting edge, sometimes there are sacrifices that just have to be made.

If you add up all of the floor space for some of the most common stores in the US, you would see that Wal-Mart covers more acreage than all of Manhattan.
Continuing down the graph, McDonalds is about one and a half times as large as Central Park, and then the rest of the stores sort of stand in line from there.

To promote their line of shower gels, Axe has teamed up with David Spade to create The World’s Dirties Film.
User submitted videos show how to get dirty, and then how to get clean, and the best videos can win some very cool prizes.
Considering the intended audience, I’m sure it’s going to turn into a college aged hot-girl-off, though I’m equally sure that a hot-girl-off will sell a lot of gel, so I guess you can’t fault Axe for a good idea.
To say that Charlie Engle, Ray Zahab and Devin Lin are just runners would be like saying that Michael Jordan was just a basketball player. The three recently completed a 111-day run across the Sahara Desert from Senegal to Egypt, a 4,000-mile distance that required them to do an average of 2 marathons per day. Keep in mind, I did say the Sahara Desert, as in, the world’s largest desert, as in, really, really dry, and definitely not a place you’d want to go running for fun. Charlie, Ray and Devin aren’t just doing it for fun though; their goal is to raise money for H2O Africa, a clean water initiative with the goal of bringing fresh water to the people of Africa. There is also going to be a movie made about the experience called “Running The Sahara”, and I’m sure there are going to be quite a few stories to tell, so be on the look out for the release date. Now would probably be a good time to buy stock in a blister medicine company.
