It might not be pretty, and you may only be able to race around the track forever against your two CPU opponents with no weapons or anything else to break up the monotony, but Nihilogic Labs has managed to create a working JavaScript demo of Super Mario Kart that includes three playable drivers and two different maps.
At this point, it’s just an experiment, and basically exists as a technical demo/proof-of-concept, but hey, it works, so go check it out.

On the one hand, it’s too bad Ownage Burst is only a single level demo, because the game is awesome! On the other, it’s good that it’s only a single level demo, because the game is awesome, and there’s more to come!
Kill hundreds of enemies in this senseless action flash game. Avoid mortal shots while headshooting random baddies and then roll for cover with the lateral jump, or throw grenades to see them blown to pieces.
With classic side scrolling action, simple controls, unlimited ammo, and a seemingly endless supply of “baddies”, this game definitely has some potential.

Ah conspiracy theories. There’s just something so wonderfully captivating about their possible truthiness. The latest comes on the heels of Apple’s big event, and claims that Steve Jobs’ well-known leftist slant may have found its way into the wonderphone’s promotional material.
As you can see from the picture, the chosen web page for the iPhone’s internet demo is a decidedly democratic snapshot of the New York Times, taken during last year’s elections. Lucky coincidence, or overt subliminal messaging? You decide.
