In Shore Siege, ye be shipwrecked on an island full ‘o’ monsters. You must defend your ship against countless hordes of vile beast and repair the ship to the point where ye can escape!
Thankfully, ye old pirate engineers are able to develop specific weapons to defeat the monsters ‘o’ the isle, and you must use these weapons to strategically defeat ye enemy while saving up enough doubloons to patch yer ship.
Square Meal is another fantastic game from Nitrome that puts you in charge of a troll as you clear each level of enemies to escape the dungeon!!
To defeat enemies, you must eat them, but before you can eat them, you need to stun them by hitting them with blocks that you spit at them.
As is to be expected, not all blocks behave the same, and some enemies will charge or even block your blocks, and the dungeons are often booby-trapped or “slippy”, so you need to watch your step.
Portal brought ‘think outside the box’ gameplay back into the spotlight with a mix of physics and fun.
If you missed out on the actual thing though, don’t worry, as We Create Stuff has created a 2D Flash version for all your portal needs. It might not have the fancy look and feel of the original game, but it’s definitely got the challenge, so see if you can escape.
They just don’t make movie monsters like they used to.
There was a time when you could fight for hours, and regardless of what you did, you were still going to wind up dead. There was just no escape.
However, for a few monsters, escape was a bit easier than it should have been. Just an easy slip or an obvious choice was all it took to get away; though the lead character never seemed to be aware of this fact until it was too late.
