…You still suck at Photoshop?

Sadly, you still suck at Photoshop; but thankfully, Donnie is still here to help, and he’s continuing his series of sarcastically funny how-tos called “You Suck at Photoshop”.

Lesson three includes the clone stamp and manual cloning, and lesson four includes paths and masks, so you’ll be a pro in no time.

Are you ready?

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Formula Drift?

Formula Drift Logo

On Saturday, I had the chance to go and see Formula D’s “The Finals” at Irwindale Speedway (yes, I did get stuck on Interstate 5 on the way down from San Francisco due to that massive accident), and I must say, if you’re at all a fan of the four wheeled machine, make sure you check out one of Formula Drift’s events at a track near you.

Pontiac Solstice

If you’re not familiar with the sport, think of drifting as two automotive ballerinas battling it out in a boxing match. It’s gracefully controlled mayhem, and in my opinion, it’s easily the best form of four-wheeled entertainment on the planet.

…It’s TGI Friday: The Great Flickr Photo Find?

Hammertime

For today’s TGI Friday, I’d like to announce a new contest that I’m calling The Great Flickr Photo Find. Since I haven’t done a giveaway in a while, the winner of this contest is going to get something special. If ‘the find’ gets 10 or more entrants (10 people, not 10 photos), I’ll be giving away a one year Flickr pro account (so spread the word and let your friends know, because the more entrants, the better). If ‘the find’ gets less than 10 though, don’t despair, because I’ve still got something special in mind that won’t disappoint.

To enter, just find a photo on Flickr that you like. Simple, right? It can be funny, inspiring, emotional, or unique, but just make sure it’s interesting. Then, post a link to the pic in the comments. That’s it. At the end of the day (PST) on Sunday, March 25, I’ll pick my favorite pic out of the entrants, and the poster will win the prize. Though any photo is eligible (even your own), I’d like to post the winning photo here on the site, so bonus points will be awarded for the use of a Creative Commons photo (like the photo above, Hammertime, by Afroswede, or the photo below, pillars, by Jef Poskanzer). To make things easy, just use the Creative Commons Search.

Find a photo, post it, and win; that’s all there is to it. Let’s see what you’ve got.

Edit: I’ve extended the deadline until Sunday to give you some time to find the good stuff.
