…Disturbia is disturbing?

The following contains no spoilers:

So yesterday I was able to get a sneak peak at Disturbia, and I must say that I was pretty impressed. Shia LaBeouf (who I kept wanting to call Even Stevens Boy) played a very believable hero, David Morse played a wonderful and Hannibal-esque villain (with a little bit of “Here’s Johnny” thrown in for good measure), Sarah Roemer was hot, and the plot moved along nicely. There was plenty of scary stuff to keep the edge of your seat busy, and nothing strayed too far into unbelievable land (though there was the occasional movie clichés, it didn’t distract from the movie’s overall appeal). Don’t expect too much, and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
