…Rotating pictures is fun?

Rotate

If you’re looking for a little more cranial involvement with your online games, check out Rotate, from Games For The Brain. Rotate takes an image from Flickr that is posted under a Creative Commons license, and splits it up into a mosaic of tiny squares. The goal is to rotate each square until the picture returns to normal. Get it right, and 25 points get added to your “IQ” score. Get it wrong though, and 25 points are taken away. It addictive in a simple and satisfying sort of way.

…DYH is now covered by a Creative Commons License?

Creative Commons

I finally got around to adding a Creative Commons license to all of the content that I post here on DYH. I’ve gone with an Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License, which means that anyone can remix, tweak, and build upon my work, even for commercial reasons, as long as they credit my work, and license their new creations under identical terms. Basically, it’s like a copyright, but anyone can use what I post, as long as they give me credit, and they agree to let others use what they post of mine. It’s a free world, and I love to see ideas shared and built upon, I just want to make sure that credit is given where credit is deserved. If you have anything that you’ve considered copyrighting, I highly suggest that you check out the options that Creative Commons Licenses offer. You may just find a perfect way to share with the world your thoughts and ideas.
