…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Piss’d Off Pete?

Piss'd Off Pete

The Blastolene Brothers don’t do small, which is why their latest creation, called Piss’d Off Pete, is difficult to comprehend.

The ‘hot rod’ began life as a Peterbilt Model 351 cab, which was then chopped and mounted behind an 852 cubic-inch, two-stroke, V12 Detroit Diesel that is fed by two superchargers to the tune of 500 horsepower and 1000 lb-ft of torque at the redline of just 2,800 rpm. Power is then fed into an Allison 4-speed transmission out of a Greyhound bus, and then out through a customized rear end out of a semi truck.

Piss'd Off Pete Details

Other details include seats that were built by a saddle maker, Baer brakes, and a custom built boat-tail gas tank.

If you happen to catch this thing in your rear view mirror, I suggest you get out of the way!

…Nic Case’s car is fast?

World's Fastest Remote Controlled Car

Nic Case’s world record setting car cost him $4,000, has all-wheel-drive, has no brakes, makes 11-horsepower, and features a carbon fiber chassis.

Oh, and it’s controlled by a remote, and sits just a few inches off the ground.

Recently, the custom creation was clocked at 161mph on the track, though Nic’s confident that with a few tweaks, he can easily break the 200mph barrier.

Just don’t expect to buy one of these at your local Radio Shack!

…Rintendo bikes are awesome?

Rintendo

Rintendo makes a series of bikes that feature some rather… unique forms of power assistance.

The four models include Jokee, a steam-powered bicycle, FIRE Trick BOB with a real jet engine, AQUA trick BOB which uses eight bottles of Diet Pepsi to power an onboard, high pressure water jet, and ELECTRIC BOB, which uses an electric powered propeller to get around.

They’re all custom made in Japan, so actually purchasing one and then shipping it may be a bit of a pain, but if you’ve got the skills to make one of your own, and just needed a bit of inspiration, then let this be it!

…Nike and Transformers are teaming up again?

Nike Transformers

It’s not often that shoe fanatics and Transformers fanboys collide (except for the shoes that came out after the first Transformers movie) but when custom kicks like these are on the line, I would be surprised to see riots breaking out in the streets.

The line of shoes, which draw heavy (and officially licensed) inspiration from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, include customized versions of the Zoom Sharkalaid, Zoom FP and Zoom Flight Club, with Bumblebee, Soundwave and Megatron all represented.

If you want a pair, you better start looking around though, because you can’t just expect to walk into your local Foot Locker and pick a pair off the shelf.
