…Euroball is an awesome table game?

Euroball is simple: The aim of the game is to score as many goals as possible before 90 seconds of time runs out.

The rules are as follows:

  • A player can only shove the coin furthest from the goal.
  • Apart from at kick-off, the shoved coin must pass between the other 2 coins.
  • All coins must stay on the table.
  • A player cannot shoot until 2 of their coins are in the opposition’s half.
  • For a goal to count, the coin must fully pass in between the tips of the goalie’s fingers.
  • There is no limit to the number of bonuses a player can get during a game.
  • The referee’s decision is final.

Point scoring is as follows:

  • You score a goal when you score a goal.
  • Your opponent scores a goal every time you knock a coin off the table.
  • Your goal difference is your score minus your opponent’s score. Your final point score is worked out as follows: (Goal Difference * 1000)+(Bonuses*100)-(Passes*50)

As soon as I played this game, I was in love, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

…English ain’t easy?

Girls Reading Books

The English language is by no means easy, which is why so many people butcher it so badly.

Unfortunately, even if you’re familiar with the words that are in common use, you’re probably still led astray by common misunderstandings.

Dick Scale

To clear up some of the confusion, Cracked has put together a list of the 9 Words That Don’t Mean What You Think, and included a dick scale so you can see just how big of a dick you are if you correct people on each mistake.

Irregardless of the ironic titles, I think that for this post, I’m going to peruse the Internet until I can find something better; because it’s deceptively simple to rely on the plethora of info that’s out there.

…Mac menubars can display the date?

Mac Menu Bar

With a bit of clever menu manipulation, you can finally force your Mac to show the date in your menubar using System Preferences.

  1. In System Preferences, open International and go to the Formats tab.
  2. Next to Dates, click the Customize button. Arrange your date in the format you want to appear on your menubar. Use the down arrows on each element to choose between formats. (January, Jan, 01, 1, etc.)
  3. Now, select the entire date format and copy it to your clipboard (Cmd+A, Cmd+C). Hit OK.
  4. Hit the Customize button next to Times. Choose the “Medium” format.
  5. Paste the date format on your clipboard next to the time format, and hit OK. You’re done!

It’s not exactly easy, but it works, so there’s now no excuse for not knowing the date.
