…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition?

Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition

Gemballa is no stranger to DYH’s Tuner Tuesday, and I’ve even featured their Mirage Carrera GT before, but when you take a car that’s already super, add even more super styling to it, and then take that super-super car and add carbon fiber on top, I think the result is worth a repeat mention!

The Mirage GT Carbon Edition covers the car in a fantastically wicked, two-tone, black and white paint job with sinister red accents on the brakes, headlight trim and wheels, and leaves the carbon fiber bits and pieces exposed for extra hints of performance.

And speaking of performance, Gemballa has blessed the 670 horsepower car with some pretty impressive numbers to back up the pretty aggressive look, putting the 0-62 mph time at just 3.7 seconds, 9.7 seconds to 124 mph (200 km/h) and a top speed of 208 mph.

When all is said and done, it’s definitely a car for those that have no problems dropping seven figures on four wheels and two seats, so if you have to ask…

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Gemballa Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R?

Gemballa Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R

Gemballa is known to tune a Porsche into something else entirely, but their Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R (aka a 911 Turbo on steroids) raises the bar even further than their usual.

How much further?

850 HP and 690 ft-lbs of torque further, thanks to the pair of Garret T035 turbos strapped onto the enlarged 3.8L engine. GT3-R heads, a machined crank and new connecting rods also help.

It wouldn’t be a Gemballa though if they decided to leave the exterior alone, so they transformed the usually sleek and svelte 911 body into a menacing monster; with new rear fenders complete with larger air intakes covering the rear wheels, a new lower front fascia to add extra grill, a vented hood to let some of the air out, GT headlights, a dual-wing rear spoiler, 19-inch alloys, and a rear apron to cover the four new exhaust tips.

In case you didn’t quite get the message the first time, Gemballa would like to remind you: Subtlety is overrated.

…It’s Tuner Tuesday: Gemballa Mirage Carrera GT?

Gemballa Mirage GT

Considering the fact that they’re only making 25 of them, you would think that just owning a Gemballa Mirage Carrera GT would be enough to draw just about everyone’s attention; but apparently, exclusivity was not enough for one ‘well-known professional soccer player’, as he decided to give his ride the glitter black with green highlight treatment you see here.

I guess it’s hard to mess up a high dollar ride like this, so I sort of like the style, but may I suggest that if you’re going to buy a car like this, and you’re not necessarily known for your fashion sense, then hire someone who is to do the design work, because this is one short step away from becoming the world’s most expensive pimpmobile.

…Gemballa makes more than just a Mirage?

The Mirage GT, a 650 hp super supercar from ultimate Porsche tuner Gemballa, is definitely all kinds of sexy. The Black Edition featured above has more power, wheel and interior options than the standard Mirage, and is surely a great way to spend your extra millions. I’ll take two.
