…It’s Website Wednesday: StreetArtLocator?

StreetArtLocator

The StreetArtLocator (v2) helps you locate street art near you. (Considering the name, the obviousness of that statement is not lost on me…)

With specific tags for graffiti, galleries, paintings, stickers, stencils, sculptures, and installations, it’s a Google Map powered guide to the beautiful art that’s all around you for controversially public consumption.

Just click on your area to see both a location and a picture of the street art that has been spotted and documented. Then, if you’re out and about and come across something that you’d like to share, just snap a pic and add it to the database to help those around you enjoy your find as well.

Free ATT WiFi

AT&T will soon offer free Wi-Fi to all iPhone users at their more than 17,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in the U.S., including all Starbucks stores.

If you’d like to get in on that action, but don’t yet have an iPhone, then check out UNEASYsilence for a guide on how to use Firefox’s User Agent Switcher to trick hotspots into thinking you’re on an iPhone, and then granting you full access to their tubes of Internet.

…Times turns your RSS into a newspaper?

Times

Times is “a new type of newsreader for Mac OS X Leopard”.

By rethinking the way you read news, we’ve created the best possible news experience straight from the ground up.

Instead of treating your RSS feeds like emails, Times is designed to present them like a newspaper, with headlines and photos from a variety of sources to guide your way.

Times LogoLike a newspaper, Times allows you to separate feeds into their own areas, create pages for different subjects, and more.

Times also shows the entire article within the program, and formats them all the same for easy reading.

Ready to give RSS a try, but aren’t quite ready to give up your newspaper just yet?

Then Times just might be the perfect solution.
