…Donkey Kong likes Legos?

With a Mindstorms RCX kit and a lot of creative ingenuity, Dan Kressin managed to recreate an entire Donkey Kong level using only Legos.

In all, it took him about three months or 110-120 hours to complete, and the end result is a fully automatic and synchronized art piece that even plays the Donkey Kong theme song while the action happens.

…Scott Dawson is one cool guy?

Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson is a master on ingenuity. Rather than pay the $1,200 a shop was asking for to fix his car’s air conditioning, Scott had a better idea.

His window mounted A/C unit at home seemed to do a pretty good job of keeping his house cool, so why not use it to keep his car cool too? The end result is this sunroof mounted home A/C conversion that substitutes cool looks for cool temperatures.

Looks like Scott’s civil engineering degree got some use after all.
