The Unfinished Swan

The Unfinished Swan is unfortunately (and ironically) unfinished, but the idea is fantastic: You’re in an entirely white, first person world and you’re armed with a paint gun. To get around, you must splatter paint on everything in front of you to help navigate the unusual garden.

…Will Farrell is Semi-Pro?

I like that Will Farrell has reached a point in his career where he can sell a movie by basically saying not much more than the fact that he is going to be in it.

Here’s to stardom:

…The Bravia bunnies are coming?

Wow!

Remember when I gave you a preview of the new Sony Bravia ad that was being filmed in New York?

Well it’s done, and it’s amazing.

Following in the footsteps of the bouncy ball ad and the paint explosion ad, this spot sure had some big shoes to fill, but with one of the most ambitious stop-motion films ever created, I’d say it managed to top them both.

Featuring over 200 Play-Doh bunnies roaming the streets of New York, a total of 100,000 frames make up this 1:30 spot. The entire commercial took over three weeks to film, used 2.5 tons of plasticine, and employed 40 animators to make the motion.

Prepare to be amazed. Again.

…The 11th Hour is upon us?

The 11th Hour

Yesterday I was able to preview Leonardo DiCaprio’s The 11th Hour, and while it was a lot of what I was expecting, there was also some very interesting insights that caught me by surprise.

Of course there was the usual mix of science fiction and fear mongering, but original thoughts did make an appearance, and I was definitely opened up to a few new ideas and opinions.

Go in with an open mind, and I think you’ll enjoy it, though as with most movies like this, they’re not likely to drastically change your opinions on the issues. However, anything that gets people talking is a good thing, so I’m giving this the DYH seal of approval.

…2007 is the year of Didn’t You Hear?

2007 DYH

A new year means new features, and Didn’t You Hear is going to be adding some in the coming weeks. The first to be announced is daily content. DYH will continue to cover everything that is so hot right now, but will also be adding the following:

    Movie Monday
    A new movie, movie review, or movie preview will debut each Monday.

    Tuner Tuesday
    A new car, car tuner, or car review will debut each Tuesday.

    Website Wednesday
    A new website will debut each Wednesday.

    Things Thursday
    A new gadget, gift, or gizmo will debut each Thursday.

    TGI Friday
    Anything goes, but it will definitely be unique. Maybe a contest, maybe a giveaway, maybe just a joke to finish off the week, but definitely something interesting.

So make sure to check back daily for new stuff, because 2007 is going to be the year of Didn’t You Hear.
