…The URWERK UR-202 is full of air?

The UR-202 is the world’s first wristwatch to feature “an innovative new winding system regulated by compressing air utilizing miniature turbines”.

Time on the UR-202 is displayed using telescopic minute hands operating through the middle of three orbiting and revolving hour satellites.
The telescopic minute hands precisely adjust their length to follow the three vectors marking the minutes: 0 -14, 15 – 44, 45 – 60. Extended, they enable the UR-202 to display the time across a large easy-to-read, dial. Retracted, they allow for a very wearable and comfortably sized case; thus providing the wearer with the best of both worlds.

If you’ve got the financial fortitude, then the UR-202 is available in either red gold, white gold, black PE-CVD platinum, and ALTiN steel.

One of each please…

…Timeline scrolls the date and time?

Timeline Clock

The Timeline Clock is an interesting concept where the date and time are shown on bands that scroll across the screen. It’s a unique way of displaying information, and somehow captivating, though you only really notice the seconds and minutes scrolling along (which does put the slow movement of everything else into perspective). If someone could figure out how, I’m sure this would make an amazing wristwatch. If you click on the clock, you can download Timeline and use it as a screensaver. Very cool.

…Your watch can have its own spinner?

Icetek Spinner

The spinning rim has been around for so long that it’s almost become trite, with every Joe Schmoe in a Honda able to slap a pair of $50 hubcaps on his ride and spin down the street. What if you could carry that spinning sense of style around with you though, say, on your wrist? Icetek aims to do just that with their Spinner line of wristwatches, allowing you to wear “a part of your car, all day long”. Designed with a center disc that moves with motion, “drawing attention to the white diamonds on the spinners, crown, case and bezel”, this isn’t a watch for the subtle. Yours can be had with either a black lacquer or white mother-of-pearl dial, and each one comes with a rubber tire strap and a leather strap to match your outfit. There are a total of 4.5 karats of diamonds covering this spinning sensation, so make sure to wear it on a bright day to get your full $5000 worth.
